Two WEWORLD Students Selected as Recipients of the Kyoritsu International Foundation Scholarship

We are pleased to announce that two students from the WEWORLD Group have been selected as recipients of the Kyoritsu International Foundation Scholarship (Kyoritsu Maintenance Scholarship).

We sincerely congratulate Roka Rejina from NBL (Nagano Business and Language College) and Adeline Stephanie from ISI Shibuya Harajuku Campus on receiving this scholarship award.

This scholarship is a non-repayable scholarship designed to support the academic studies and daily lives of privately funded international students from Asian countries studying in Japan, providing JPY 60,000 per month.

This award is a recognition of the hard work and dedication both students have shown over time.

Roka Rejina, Nagano Business and Language College (From Nepal)

Roka is currently studying in the Global Business Course at NBL while continuing to work toward her goal of building a career in Japan. Her attitude in facing every challenge has been especially impressive. Here are her thoughts on receiving this scholarship:

“I feel truly grateful for being given this opportunity. I sincerely appreciate the support I have received from my teachers and those around me. I hope to continue working hard and do my best to live up to their expectations.”

She said that she made a conscious effort to clearly and thoughtfully convey her goals and vision for the future during the selection process.

She also shared that studying in Japan has helped her develop the ability to think and act independently. She continues to make consistent efforts in her Japanese studies, such as reviewing lessons daily and keeping her notes organized.

Her goal is to work in Japan in the future and become a professional who can contribute to society by applying the knowledge and skills she has gained.

Adeline Stephanie, ISI Shibuya Harajuku Campus (From Indonesia)

Before coming to Japan, Adeline gained experiences through her strong initiative and passion for growth by balancing her work as a company employee with pursuing her own business. Having fulfilled her long-held dream of studying abroad, she is now fully dedicated to her studies in Japan.

Speaking about receiving the scholarship, she shared, “I am truly happy. Thinking that my parents are happy for me fills me with joy, and I feel deeply grateful for this opportunity.”

Although she felt nervous during the application process, she was able to keep moving forward without giving up thanks to the support of her teacher and friends.

She also reflected on how studying in Japan has changed her, sharing that she has come to value self-discipline more and developed a stronger desire to help others.

For her Japanese studies, she said that she takes the initiative to ask questions and is not afraid to seek help from those around her. Looking ahead, her goal is to work in Japan and become a bridge between Japanese people with people from around the world.
