The guests observed a wide range of activities over two hours, including an introduction to the school, classroom observations, and discussions.
In particular, ISI’s initiatives to enhance the quality of education, as well as its operation as one of the largest language schools in Japan, received high praise and strong interest, making the visit a valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of our group’s educational activities.
School Facilities・Classroom Observations

The visit included a tour of ISI Language School Shinjuku’s facilities, observations of its operations and classroom activities, and an explanation of ISI’s educational standards and initiatives that support student life.
The guests observed students taking an active role in learning and working collaboratively to address assigned tasks. They shared their questions and impressions regarding the use of ISI’s original teaching materials and the multicultural learning environment in which students from diverse national backgrounds study, thereby deepening their understanding of ISI’s educational environment.
In addition, they showed interest in the wide range of age groups among Japanese language instructors at the school and shared their expectations for the future development of Japanese language educators.
Discussion

Following the school tour, an exchange of views was held regarding ISI Japanese Language School’s educational philosophy, student support system, and daily initiatives.
After ISI presented its original teaching materials, self-study applications, efforts to create a supportive working environment for Japanese language instructors, and the use of digital tranformation (DX) to enhance student support, an active Q&A session followed.
Questions were also raised regarding the study sessions aimed at improving the quality of Japanese language teachers, making it a valuable opportunity to further refine our future initiatives.
The diverse perspectives and feedback shared by officials from MEXT led to a meaningful discussion that allowed us to take a broader view of the educational environment and reaffirm areas for improvement.
Interaction with Students

The visit concluded with an interaction with students who are about to graduate.
The students shared their stories in their own words, introducing themselves and explaining why they chose ISI, as well as their plans after graduation and their future goals, directly conveying the outcomes of their learning.
The words of congratulations and warm encouragement from the guests made this a memorable experience for the students.
Through this visit, officials from MEXT gained a deeper understanding of the learning environment at ISI Japanese Language School, the school’s operations utilizing digital transformation (DX), and the ways how students engage in learning, while offering many constructive insights.
WEWORLD Inc. and the ISI Japanese Language School Group will continue to incorporate the valuable feedback received in our school operations and remain committed to creating an educational environment that contributes to the international community by supporting each student in realizing their dreams.
